Indexing (SEO and SEM)
It's good to have a Website, but then again, your target public has to be able to find it… and easily. Referencing and indexing are the tools of this trade. Beyond simply analysing which key-words are used most to search for products and services within your industry, we also establish a personalised strategy for your Website based on the market and the territory that your business wants to conquer (Quebec, Canada, USA, or the World).
With statistics to back us up, we use many strategies conjointly to fully take advantage of the possibilities of the Web: keyword purchasing, blogs, e-mail campaigns, banners, press releases, partnerships, etc…
The difference between SEO and SEM
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a Website from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. SEO is long term work: it's repetitive and continuous, it requires constant monitoring and it requires regularly following the market and the competition.
SEM (Search Engine Marketing) is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs) through the use of paid placement, contextual advertising, and paid inclusion. In this way your Website appears in the search results as a function of the key-words you have specified. You only pay if a user clicks on the link that leads to your site.
